It’s trite but true that the past year has brought a lot of changes. I’ll cut to the chase and say that at the end of March, we will close our store front and be an online shop with in person events and pop ups.
Believe me when I say that a lot of thought and consideration has gone into this decision. A lot of tears, too.
My goal is to continue having monthly “in person” events and pop up shops, so we can continue to see each other, as well as increasing what we are able to offer online, through videos, online clubs and Zoom classes.
The world has changed a lot, and that is especially true of the demographic of our shoppers. So we’re going to adapt as best we can by focusing on what we do best.
I will be clearing out a good portion of our current inventory to kind of “restart” in a way that will help us start on the best foot.
Everything (except Kona Solids and Moda Grunge) will be on sale for 25% off starting this week.
The shop will be progressing through clearing out items through the middle of March, but selection will get smaller.
Towards the middle of March I will start selling fixtures, so if you are interested, please let me know.
I’m temporarily disabling our online shop because there are so many things going on right now. It will come back soon!
Change is hard, and I’d be lying if I told you I wasn’t anxious. But sometimes change is necessary. I have peace with this decision, because I know it is the only way the shop can continue forward.
The thing that makes me saddest about not being in the shop every day is not getting to see you guys. Many of you have come to be friends, and I can’t tell you how grateful I am. That is why I feel strongly about still offering at least monthly times of in person shopping, so stay tuned for those details as they are solidified.
Thank you. I’m grateful for you. I hope you’ll hang with us as we try to adapt and move forward.
