Our friend Agnes Stadler made up this festive holiday mini and wanted to share the pattern! Thank you for spreading holiday cheer, Agnes!
Finishes at 24x24inches

You’ll need: (these are the colors Agnes used, but personalize it to make it your own!)
1 yard Kona Chinese red
1/2 yard Kona white
1 yard Northern Light Trees
26×26 in. scap batting
Cut:
1 8×8 in square (this will be the star center)
12 5×5 in squares in red
12 5×5 in squares in white
8 4×4 in squares in red
2 2.5 in wof strips in red
Piece:
With 12 red and 12 white squares make a total of 24 half square triangles.
Trim down to 4×4 inches.
Place around 8×8 in. center, also using the red squares for corners.
Make a border with the 2.5 in red strip ( or leftovers of the backing).
Quilt with your preferred method and bind.
There will be enough fabric left to make a mini-version of this star that finishes 12.5 inches if you cut squares to 3 inches and trim to 2.5. In this case the center is cut 4.5 in.
